Radon 6 (Rn6) with Kinetic Bass Technology
FIR Audio releases the Radon 6, a limited 5 year anniversary model. Celebrating 5 years in pursuit of the ultimate in-ear monitoring listening experience.
The Radon 6 retails at $3,299 USD, is limited to 300 production units world-wide, and joins the Frontier Series featuring the ground-breaking Kinetic Bass, a hybrid conduction technology.
What is Kinetic Bass and hybrid conduction?
Conventional In-Ear Monitors (IEMs) can often lack depth and feel because they only provide you with half the sound. When you listen to music naturally with your ears, you hear sound in two ways: air conduction and bone conduction. Air conduction is sound that you hear with your eardrums. Bone conduction is the conduction of sound through the bones in your head as it reaches the inner ear (cochlea). Hybrid conduction is when you can hear with both, air conduction and bone conduction. Kinetic Bass adds the bone conduction element to the listening experience which gives the listener a more immersive listening experience.
The Radon 6 also features the proprietary Open Acoustics system, a technology that removes all internal sound tubes greatly expanding the soundstage, ATOM venting technology which allows venting of air pressures that are built up in the ear canal, reducing listener fatigue, and Rigid Technologies which enables FIR Audio to make the most durable In-Ear Monitors on the market. The reason why they’re the only ones offering a 3 Year Warranty on their Custom IEMs.
