I've been buying several of the highly rated Chi-Fi budget in ear headphones from KZ, Auglamore, and others just to see what you can get for under $50. I also have the 1More Double and Triple drivers and a few other higher end in ear headphones. I love to compare and see how much quality a little money can buy. I read the reviews on the S2000 and decided to give them a try. I mean, for $25 why not.

So I just recently got these and plugged them in to my iFi Nano iDSD Black DAC/Amp to see what Advanced Sound was serving up. I started out with a few Enya tracks because I like to see what kind of presence and sound stage they have. Wow! These in ears are fairly small and really comfortable, but they sound like something far more substantial. The bass and sub-bass is rich and powerful, but not overpowering. The overall clarity and detail from bass to treble is crazy good. Two small observations are that male vocals are a bit reduced compared to the low end and high end and every once in a while at high volumes certain highs can be very bright. But that's being being pretty picky as the overall listening experience is really amazing.
