We tuned FIBAE 7 Unlimited to be an even better IEM than its predecessor. We listened to feedback from our customers and entrusted reviewers over the years and adjusted accordingly. We added more sub-bass, slightly reduced mids to make it less vocal-forward, and greatly improved high frequency presence by adopting an advanced crossover with a dedicated, 3D-printed special waveguide. The effect is an ultimate frequency response, smooth natural tonality, spacious and expansive soundstage.

FIBAE 7 Unlimited portrays musicality combined with balance and an ultimate extension of frequencies. FIBAE 7 Unlimited has been fully redesigned. The new updated crossover adds more headroom and improves the dynamics and transient response. With increased sensitivity, the updated F7 is easier to drive, achieving much higher loudness before distortion. This will prove incredibly beneficial especially for professional musicians on stage. It especially does really well in musicality and has a very high engagement factor for me personally. With a very comfortable UIEM fit, one of the best CIEM fits I’ve had the pleasure of trying and some of the best in class artwork and designs on offer, it just makes recommending the CustomArt FIBAE 7 Unlimited even easier.

The new Custom Art flagship is a very impressive highly technical monitor. The FIBAE 7U delivers a very precise, technically powerful signature with a good low end, smooth mids, more forward treble and a sparkling top end. It has great dynamics, staging and stereo image, and that combined with the right amount of body, naturalness and detail retrieval make it a musical, yet special sounding, technically strong monitor.

The amount of extension of both ends, the smoothness of the mids, and the incredibly detailed and defined treble response are all excellent when it comes to a higher-end IEM. Yet, don’t forget to pair it up with a smooth & musical-sounding source, as it can get a bit too sterile in the upper parts of the spectrum with its sharp tuning.
