Peacock uses ultra high tech planar drivers – Quad Former tech. There are double coils on both sides of the diaphragm, with double magnets, for powerful sound, consistent driver motion and ultra low distortion. There is no harshness and outstanding resolution from the advanced drivers. This is an easy to drive open back flagship – get great results from a huge variety of quality sources.
Headband and pads are supple goat skin, with super soft mini pads in the headband.
Peacock has a cnc milled wood enclosure and aluminum driver housing / window grilles, for beautiful build quality (all gold parts are 24k gold plated)
The cable is an 8-core braided copper cable with mini xlr into the headphone with balanced 4.4mm plug. XLR and 6.5mm adaptors are included – this is our favorite cable design of any headphone we carry. There are wood splitter and slider on the cable and top quality parts everywhere.
The carry case is hard shell, brown leather with bronze accents.

The Sendy Audio Peacock is a fantastic-looking headphone with a very chic and premium design and materials. It has excellent build quality as well. And that cable they supply it with? It’s awesome, I hope more manufacturers can do that. It’s also comfortable for a heavy planar magnetic headphone.
The sound is a new perspective to the planar headphone concept from the brand. However, I think the sound needs more refinement and air, with better transparency and PRaT. Other than that, the sound-stage and imaging are excellent, as well as bass quality. The timbre is awesome too, but the mid-range resolution and inconsistency in the treble set it back a bit.
Still, I think their approach is suitable in terms of market demands for design, build quality, and accessories. I’m sure the sound tuning will be improved.
